Where do I even start with these two?! Dream clients at your finest. Clarissa and I met months ago when she found me through an ad of mine. Their search for an elopement photographer was getting tough until they came across me. My elopement package was everything they were looking for and more. So much to the point that they actually changed their entire wedding date just so I could photograph it. Those are some hard core clients, for ya!
They decided on doing their engagement session in Wilmington, NC- and me being the adventurous soul that I am, was totally down to travel! The day of the shoot came and it was one of the most gorgeous days ever. High 70’s with no cloud in the sky. When we met up, Clarissa looked beautiful in this short white dress, and Sam didn’t look to shabby himself! We instantly clicked in person so getting them to interact in front of the camera wasn’t too hard! We talked in between takes and overall had a great time!
Then we switched locations and headed to the beach for golden hour and it was so worth it! The sun was beaming against the water as it set. The glow of the light sun kissed their faces and made their photos have that extra pop! If you have ever wondered what golden hour looks like, this is a perfect example!
The session was perfect. Getting to know Clarissa and Sam was such a pleasure and absolutely made my day. I learned they actually met in Afghanistan- as both of them served our wonderful country in the Army. I thought it was so cool these two met across the globe and reconnected back here in the states. That’s what I would call a love story.
I’m so thankful for clients like these two that are so down to earth and a joy to be around. I’m very much looking forward to their elopement in October and am most excited to work with them again!
