This past month, I attended a trip of a lifetime with the most badass women photographers! All of us come from different backgrounds and experience but our love for photography is all the same. Where better to have an epic photographer’s retreat than beautiful Colorado?! This trip was one for the books. What started out as your typical “Griswold” vacation (aka getting stuck in two feet of snow in the middle of nowhere)- quickly turned around for the better!
One of the first shoots we planned on was at one of Colorado’s best hidden secrets- the Paint Mines. When I say the Paint Mines was one of the most beautiful locations I’ve visited in Colorado- I mean it. The rocks themselves had different shades of orange and pink and because of a recent snow storm, the rocks were beautifully snow capped… making it such an epic location to shoot!
Our models were Anja and Zack! They recently eloped this time last year and were totally willing to relive their day with us photographers. They even wore their original wedding attire. Not only did they look amazing, but they were so easy going and fun to work with! They were definitely down for an adventure (which is my type of people!)- so we had a blast photographing these two. Overall, it was a gorgeous day filled with the perfect scenery and an even more perfect couple!
